Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled individual to serve as our Youth Ministry Coordinator for students in 7th-12th grades. Key Responsibilities

Oversee sacrament preparation for 2nd-year Confirmation (8th grade) and youth OCIA (9th-12th grade) students, including catechesis, retreats, service hours, sacramental milestone tracking, and parent communication.
Prepare for and help lead annual Confirmation retreats and high school retreats.
Recruit, train, form, and support core adult volunteers for evangelization and youth ministry programs. All volunteers must complete Diocesan VIRTUS training.

Empower high school students to share their testimony, lead small groups, facilitate retreats, and give back to the church community.
Establish the annual calendar and curriculum for youth programs.
Maintain weekly administrative logs, Confirmation materials, and regular communication with parents.
Utilize technology and social media to engage youth and families effectively.
Foster ongoing faith formation opportunities for youth and young adults.
Communicate regularly with parishioners via email, phone, and in-person.
