Job Description
Looking to hire a nanny for our 6-month-old son, Leo. I'd love to share some details about what we are looking for and see if you have anyone might be a good fit.Position details:
• Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Child: 6 months old
What we are looking for in a nanny:
• Practicing Catholic who shares and supports the family's faith and values
• Comfortable with a no-screens/no-device policy for the baby (and ideally limited personal phone use while on duty)
• Prior experience caring for infants/newborns, with strong knowledge of infant safety, feeding, and sleep routines
• Enjoys and prioritizes outdoor time - walks, stroller outings, and general time in nature
• Warm, nurturing, and attentive, with patience and a gentle demeanor
• CPR/infant safety certified (or willing to become certified)
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable navigating the city (public transit, stroller-friendly outings, etc.)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong references from prior families, especially those with infants
• Open to a long-term commitment/relationship with the family
