Hospitality CoordinatorPart-time; non-exempt

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Vicar for Evangelization and/or his delegates, the Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and hospitable environment for all programs, events, and daily operations at St. Paul Inside the Walls. This role ensures that spaces are well-prepared, aesthetically maintained, and fully equipped to support the mission of the Center. The Hospitality Coordinator also provides administrative support to staff and departments as needed, while serving as a key point of contact for visitors and guests.

Major Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (Hospitality & Operations Focus)
• Oversee, coordinate, and manage hospitality for programs and events, including procuring and organizing supplies
• Set up, arrange, and break down meeting spaces, conferences, and
• Maintain and manage the kitchen, including inventory(e.g., water delivery), organization of refrigerator and freezer, and operation of appliances(run dishwasher at end of the day and launder table clothes after an event)
• Ensure all public and event spaces are clean, orderly, and welcoming at all times
• Conduct a monthly walkthrough of the mansion to identify areas needing attention, repair, or improvement in order to maintain the building's beauty and aesthetic
• Coordinate hospitality needs for the chapel, including liturgical supplies and setup as directed by the Office Coordinator
• Receive, organize, and distribute deliveries and event materials
Administrative & Support Responsibilities
• Provide administrative assistance to staff and departments as needed
• Serve as a front-facing representative by greeting visitors and assisting with inquiries in person and by phone
• Assist with program registrations, data entry, and use of internal systems (e.g., eCatholic, Word, Excel)
• Assist with organizing and supporting diocesan workshops, events, and celebrations
• Assist in the collection and counting of fees and donations for deposit
Additional & Assisting Responsibilities
• Support general office operations including copying, mailing, and filing
• Participate in training for internal systems and tools as needed
• Assist other staff with projects and tasks as assigned

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to perform light physical work, including lifting and carrying items such as cases of water, groceries, and event supplies
• Ability to set up and move tables, chairs, and equipment for events
• Comfortable being active throughout the workday, including standing, walking, and light cleaning/organizing

This position will be part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
