Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Organic Content & Growth)

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually
Location: Golden, CO
Hours: Full-time

Position Mission:
A Catholic apostolate in Colorado is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Content & Growth) leads the execution and optimization of the organization's digital presence across key channels, including social media, blog, email, and web.
This role translates established brand strategy, content pillars, and campaign priorities into cohesive, high-performing digital experiences. By partnering closely with the Brand & Creative team, this individual ensures that creative vision is consistently and effectively executed across channels while optimizing for audience engagement and growth.
Grounded in the mission of this organization, this role leverages digital platforms as a means of evangelization-helping reach, engage, and invite others into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Additionally, this role identifies and removes barriers to execution across the digital team-streamlining workflows, improving processes, and enabling teams to operate with greater clarity and efficiency. This role also plays a key leadership function within the digital team by mentoring channel owners and helping develop platform-specific strategies that effectively reach distinct audiences.

Position Responsibilities:

Content Execution and Calendar Management
- Build and manage content calendars across social media, blog, email, and web channels based on established content pillars and campaign priorities.
- Ensure consistent cadence, alignment with organizational priorities, and timely execution of content across platforms.
- Incorporate key moments such as campaigns and the liturgical calendar into content planning.

Editorial Translation and Channel Strategy
- Translate high-level messaging and content pillars into clear, platform-specific content plans.
- Adapt messaging to fit the nuances of each channel and audience.
- Ensure clarity, cohesion, and consistency in how the organization's message is communicated across digital platforms.

Creative Partnership
- Partner with the Brand & Creative team to bring creative vision to life across digital channels.
- Provide input on how creative concepts should be adapted for different platforms and user experiences (email, web, social, blog).
- Ensure all digital content is both on-brand and optimized for engagement and performance.

Team Leadership & Social Media Partnership
- Partner closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure digital content strategy is effectively executed across social channels.
- Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to the social media team, helping elevate channel-specific strategies and execution.
- Support the development of differentiated approaches across platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to better reach and engage target audiences.
- Foster clarity, alignment, and consistency in how content is planned and executed across the team.

Cultivate Divine Intimacy
- Personal prayer and/or daily Mass, when possible
- Avail yourself of other spiritual opportunities
- Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, and maintain a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people outside of work
- Live out the moral life in Christ
- A practicing Catholic or Christian in good standing with the Catholic Church

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media
- Experience managing organic social media channels and/or blog content
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Experience with analytics tools and performance reporting
- Ability to translate high-level messaging into effective digital content
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills
- Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization

Desired Attributes:
- Strong executor who can translate strategy into action
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
- Passion for the mission of the organization and digital evangelization

Compensation & Benefits:
For this role, the anticipated pay is $75,000 - $85,000/year. This range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, and scope of responsibilities.
