Job Description
St. Matthew Catholic Church | Tyrone, GeorgiaSt. Matthew Catholic Church is seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to assist with the care and upkeep of our parish buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities include performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, facility inspections, troubleshooting building systems, and coordinating with outside contractors to ensure a safe and welcoming parish environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in general maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends and respond to maintenance emergencies.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet parish background check and Safe Environment requirements.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous maintenance experience and technical certifications are preferred.
Position: Part-time, hourly
