La Salle College High School, a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young men of varied backgrounds, is conducted in the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle. Through a broad and balanced, human, and Christian education, La Salle College High School guides each student in the development of his unique God-given talents and fosters a commitment to academic excellence, service, and leadership.

Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Philanthropy Officer plays a pivotal role in advancing the fundraising endeavors at La Salle College High School by engaging in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors capable of making financial contributions in excess of $5,000 to bolster the school's mission and strategic objectives.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of two years of major gifts fundraising experience, preferably in independent schools or higher education. A commitment to embracing La Salle College High School's mission and culture and the ability to project the goals and values of the school to prospective donors is essential. The incumbent must have proven success in achieving fundraising goals and a successful track record of cultivating, soliciting, and securing major gifts. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build, foster, and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external constituencies including administrators, faculty, trustees, volunteers, students, donors, and prospects. The ideal candidate will have experience with capital campaigns, Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program, and planned giving. Bachelor's degree required. Must be willing and able to travel with occasional evening and weekend event duties.
