Job Description
Announcing an extraordinary opportunity to combine your existing office management skills with a fantastic organization within the Catholic Church. The Pontifical North American College is seeking an Advancement Operations Manager (AOM) to join our team. While the College itself is based in Rome, just outside the Vatican City State, the Office of Institutional Advancement is located in Washington, DC, near the Catholic University of America campus (Brookland stop on the Metro Red Line). The position reports directly to the Executive Director. The AOM is the frontline team member for several key functions of our office operation. Principal duties include: coordination of accounts payable and invoicing with our Rome office; weekly reporting to and from the Rome office; screening all incoming calls, emails, and postal mail; special event support; supervision of various printing projects; support for the Executive Director; and general office management. The office is a fast-paced environment with room to work independently on weekly goals and serve as a critical member of a small but efficient team.
A minimum two-year college degree is required (four-year preferred), plus 2-4 years relevant experience in an administrative or fundraising office setting. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a solid work ethic are absolute musts. Preference will be given to those with experience using Raiser's Edge software, and persons of the Catholic Faith. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. The office building offers free parking, a dining area, and a chapel. This is not a remote position, but flexible hours are possible. The start date is immediate.
