Let's Change the World

Many say it-few actually do it.

At Newman Ministry, we're on a mission to help every student feel needed and known, and to build real Catholic community across the country. We do this through three unique brands:

Newman Connection - A nonprofit connecting Catholic high school seniors to campus ministries, activating dioceses and donors to reach the next generation.

Called - A SaaS platform empowering ministry leaders to grow discipleship and community.

Newman Student Housing Fund - A mission-driven developer creating Inspired Living student housing near public campuses.
Together, we're building a faith-filled future for the Church-and we need leaders ready to step into the arena.

What You'll Do:
We're launching a bold development campaign to grow Newman Connection's impact and donor base across the U.S.-starting in Dallas.

You'll be the tip of the spear: part connector, part fundraiser, part evangelist.

This isn't a desk job. It's a builder's seat.

We're looking for someone who knows how to open doors, get meetings, create buzz, and close gifts. Someone who can rally a crowd, energize stakeholders, and put our mission on the map-in Texas and across the country.

If you've ever said, "Just give me the opportunity-I'll make it happen," this might be your shot.

You Will:
Be a relentless relationship-builder. Cultivate donors, dioceses, schools, and Catholic leaders-starting in Dallas and expanding nationally.
Drive donor growth. Plan and execute outreach campaigns, intimate events, and activations that energize supporters and bring in recurring and major gifts.
Help lead a national giving strategy. Work with leadership to design and execute plans that drive recurring and major gift growth nationwide.
Collaborate on donor campaigns and storytelling. Partner with marketing to craft donor journeys and high-impact narratives that inspire support and build momentum.
Own your pipeline. Manage your prospects, track key metrics, and report on wins. You're responsible for building momentum and closing gifts.
Champion our mission in key spaces. Attend Catholic events, conferences, and gatherings to build relationships, open doors, and amplify Newman Connection's impact.
Roll up your sleeves and get in the field. You'll thrive on personal connection-hosting gatherings, meeting people where they are, and sparking movement from the ground up.
Take ownership of development initiatives. Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset to build the systems, processes, and relationships that ensure long-term success and operational excellence.
Be a visionary builder. Drive innovation by developing creative strategies, piloting bold initiatives, and scaling Newman Connection's impact on a national level.
Collaborate across teams to amplify impact. Work with marketing, program leaders, and leadership to align messaging, campaigns, and donor experiences.
Create buzz and make noise. You'll be out in the community, stirring excitement and bringing people into the mission.
Hunt and secure grant funding. You will lead the charge on identifying, writing, and winning grants that align with our mission. From research to application to reporting, you will own the process and drive results. You will ensure we capture funding opportunities that fuel our national growth.
Be a passionate ambassador for the Catholic mission we serve-rallying supporters and building momentum.

What You Need To Get the Job Done:
3-7 years of proven success in development, sales, donor relations, or high-level community engagement-you know how to build and close.
Experience building relationships and closing gifts in the $1K-$25K range
Entrepreneurial energy-you don't wait to be told, you make it happen.
A commanding presence-you can own a boardroom, inspire a crowd, or lead a one-on-one coffee with ease.
Relentless drive-you embrace the hustle, thrive on momentum, and never back down from the grind.
Tech-savvy and organized-you know your way around CRMs and fundraising platforms (we use HubSpot + Classy) and keep your pipeline tight.
Willingness to travel and attend national events
Strong social network and confidence navigating the Catholic world

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You:
You've built or scaled a fundraising program before and aren't afraid to do it again.
You've worked in political fundraising, campus ministry, diocesan development, or Catholic media
You've led a campaign, rally, or activation that got results.
You have a marketer's instinct and a natural gift for networking-you're a connector who gets people excited to give.
You're coachable, but also willing to lead and figure things out on your own
You're bilingual or culturally connected to diverse Catholic communities

What You'll Love About Us:
Mission That Matters - Work that changes lives and shapes the Church's future
100% Remote Work Environment - Dallas preferred, flexibility available
Technology Set Up - Company MacBook and a stipend for tools to help you succeed.
Great Company Culture - We are a team. We work as one. We act as one.
Work that Stays at Work - Genuine work/life balance.
Rest and Relaxation - Generous paid time off, including 12 paid holidays plus company-wide closure from Christmas to New Year.
Health Benefits - Comprehensive health coverage because healthy people = happy people.
