Overview of the Position
As a part of the Pro-Life Generation, Students for Life of America is looking to hire a Brand Relations Manager that aims to help the President build the Students for Life brand. The Brand Relations Manager will actively engage in communication with alternative media outlets, plan and coordinate the President's travel for large events, and research various media requests and opportunities.

Responsibilities

Alternative Media
-Pitch and build relationships with media personalities and reporters that reach key demographics to extend the President's brand.
For example: Daily Wire, George Janko Podcast, other largely conservative media outlets, etc.
-Build relationships via social media, email correspondence, video calls, etc.
-Inform Chief Media Strategist & the Marketing Director of on-going pitches and hits acquired.
-Coordinate with the Social Media Manager on social media coverage of clips from various podcasts and media outlets.
-Research alternative media outlets, the return on investment, vet podcast appearance requests.
-Schedule podcast bookings, manage travel for podcast appearances.
Write pitch points and talkers for podcast appearances alongside the Strategic Communications team.

Event Management
-Research various speaking events that will allow the President to build the brand of Students for Life of America and Students for Life Action.
Investigate pay-to-play event opportunities and the return on investment.
-Coordinate with the Operations Team and the Marketing Team on events that will expand the brand of Students for Life & Kristan Hawkins.
-Coordinate with the Tour Manager on campus tour requests and bookings to maximize all trips and brand reach.

General
-Kristan Hawkins website updates.
-Ideate and work with social media team on strategies for posting to enhance the President's brand.
-Responsible for responding to X messages, engaging in current conversations to foster growth, and reaching out to media and politicians on X DMs.
-Ensuring other staff are responding in a timely manner to IG, FB and other social media messages

Qualifications
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Candidates must have knowledge of grammar rules and utilize the oxford comma.
-Proven experience in media relations, event coordination, or executive support.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
-Familiarity with conservative media outlets and key demographics.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Must be teachable to learn SFLA technologies and platforms.
-Candidates must be self- motivated, a good problem solver, have an entrepreneurial spirit, expert multi-tasker, maintain confidentiality, able to work independently, and be a highly-organized person.

Position Details

Position Type
This is a full-time salaried position working at least 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours can be somewhat flexible by request.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The Brand Relations Manager will report to the President and will
collaborate with multiple departments within Students for Life, without direct supervisor responsibilities.

Physical Demands
Must have the ability to operate technical equipment such as a computer and sit for extended periods of time.

Travel
Travel to bi-annual team trainings in January and July is required
Possible travel with the President for larger events as needed.

Work Authorization
Must be able to successfully complete an I-9. The I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.
