Job Description

If you're passionate about parish ministry, looking to gain hands-on experience in programming and enjoy connecting with students during faith formation - we want you on our team!

SPIRITUS Ministries is hiring Catholic young adults to join our missionary team and lead youth into a deeper relationship with Jesus. A few of these missionaries will also work with our Director of Discipleship as a Youth Ministry Intern. From mid-August to mid-May, missionaries lead powerful retreats for Catholic youth in elementary, middle, and high school. While gaining practical experience, missionaries also live intentionally in men's or women's households, growing in virtue and community.

We want to invest in you! As an intern, you have the support of SPIRITUS Leadership while learning to:
Work with parish leaders to plan, organize, and lead excellent Youth and Faith Formation nights at a local parish.
Build relationships with students and with parish staff and volunteers.
Serve a parish community with excellence
Lead and organize special events, like prayer services, family nights, and service projects for the parish students and families.
Thrive in a parish work environment, and work to master the required skillset under the guidance of a SPIRITUS mentor and a parish mentor.
