Director of Youth Ministry
Nativity Catholic Church, a dynamic parish located in Burke, VA, seeks to hire an experienced Director of Youth Ministry to be responsible for the coordination of all high school and middle school programs. The youth minister will develop the curriculum, implement and oversee the program, collaborate with the religious education program, work with parents/adult volunteers, and act as liaison between parish and Diocese. Work will be performed in and out of office setting with frequent evening and/or weekend work. Full time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Requirements
*Proven experience/knowledge of Catholic Church theology, history, and teachings.
*Fully initiated and practicing Catholic
*Proficient in English (oral and written)
*Bilingual Spanish-English a plus
*Strong communication and people skills
*Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
*Ability to budget and implement financial controls.
