About the Curriculum and Culture:

students engage with great works of literature, philosophy, and history in their original language, viewing them in the light of truth, beauty, and goodness. This rigorous linguistic training cultivates logical thinking, articulate self-expression, and a deeper appreciation for the enduring insights of the Catholic and Western intellectual traditions, particularly through the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of France and its global impact. Faculty members are expected to model the school's core virtues of faith, hope, charity, prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance, guiding students to appreciate foreign cultures with a spirit of Christian charity and intellectual excellence. The study of French fosters a joyful and disciplined environment where language serves to broaden the moral imagination and deepen the understanding of His Truth in a global context.
Application Process:
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, salary expectations and contact information for three professional references to Dr. Diarmuid T. Wheeler, Headmaster, at frontoffice@chelseaacademy.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
