Marketing Specialist - Position Description
The Institute of Catholic Culture (ICC) Marketing Specialist is a practicing Catholic living in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. This individual shares the vision and passion of the ICC for the restoration of authentic Catholic adult education.

As an integral part of the Institute of Catholic Culture team, the ICC Marketing Specialist is a well-organized, self-motivated, disciplined individual who can support all aspects of the Institute's programs. The Marketing Specialist will possess the ability to think critically and creatively with attention to detail and have a high standard of integrity. We seek a highly disciplined and creative individual who can take the ICC's marketing reach to the next level.

This full-time, salaried position is based in Sacramento, CA, and will require flexible working hours. The Institute provides a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, coordinate, and execute all marketing-related projects (digital and physical)
• Direct and manage staff involved in marketing-related projects
• Coordinate projects that increase social media engagement (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
• Collaborate with staff on development and fundraising campaigns
• Coordinate and support member email marketing and website program promotional content
• Develop and coordinate external marketing opportunities
• Coordinate extended outreach for programs and promotional content, including but not limited to: parish outreach, parish ambassadors, diocesan outreach
• Collaborate on quarterly projects for donor cultivation
• Coordinate quarterly curriculum mailers, special mailers, and annual report
• Collaborate on member engagement for all digital resources
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, development, communications, or related field
• Experience in a communications role with direct responsibility for leading the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy
• Familiarity with and commitment to ongoing adult formation in the Catholic liberal arts
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines while maintaining the flexibility necessary to adapt, respond, and meet the needs of the organization
• Great attention to detail and a willingness to "get in the trenches" to achieve goals
• Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, while also implementing tactically
• Enthusiastic approach to work, with humility and an attitude to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to team building and culture
• Experience with data analytics and list segmentation
• Knowledge of social media best practices and strategies
• Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft and Apple Suites
• Experience working with CRM platforms for donor engagement
• Experience working with predictive analytics and retention analysis to spot trends and guide future strategies
• Preferred Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, InDesign)
• Preferred Familiarity with latest project management and web conferencing tools
