Job Description
Holy Cross Church in Rumson, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Business Manager to work closely with the Pastor regarding the temporal administration of the parish Finances, Human Resources, Operations, Vendor, and Facility Management.Duties and responsibilities
This individual will recommend budgeting and forecasting for church and school; process accounts payable, receivable, and payroll; manage vendor relationships, review contracts, leases, and insurance; and present the parish finance activities to the School Advisory Board and Finance Council.
He or she will also oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations as directed by the Pastor, while ensuring that all employees support the mission and policies set forth by the parish.
He or she will also manage the maintenance of parish buildings and grounds, set preventative maintenance schedules, ensure compliance with safety regulations, supervise parish capital improvement projects, and oversee the parish IT systems and infrastructure.
Skills and qualifications:
Applicants will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business a master's degree is preferred. A practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred. Previous experience with Paylocity, ParishSOFT, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace a plus.

Employment will be contingent on receiving a satisfactory background check and completing Virtus training. The salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $65,000 with a full benefits package which includes: 403B match retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, paid time off and more.
