SUMMARY: This position provides support to assigned program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Provides support to assigned program
Assists case workers in coordinating and implementing program activities for clients
Transports clients, as required by program
Works one on one with clients to assist them in meeting their service plan goals
Ensures that services are provided in a planned, effective, and timely manner to clients
Maintains a clean and tidy workspace
Maintains accurate documentation of progress and activities, and provides updates and reports to appropriate stakeholders as directed by management
Assists with tracking and recording client progress, as required by program
Files correspondence, forms, and documents as needed
Connects clients to community resources, as needed
Provides support and crisis intervention when necessary and as required by program
Coordinates and facilitates orientation and training, including providing in-service training on a regular basis, as required by program
Supervises assigned volunteers and interns, as required by program
Participates in training and ongoing professional development as assigned by supervisor
Represents the Agency in the community and workplace in a professional and ethical manner.
Demonstrates sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
Utilizes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent, and six months of relevant experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is favorable.
