GUEST SERVICES COOK (PT)
Birmingham, AL / onsite

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

Looking for a part-time food service role with a consistent weekday schedule? This position is approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

• Help keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and running smoothly through food preparation, inventory management, and general kitchen support.
• Work with team members across campus to accommodate guest needs and schedules, while creating a welcoming dining experience for everyone who visits EWTN.
• In addition to supporting daily dining services, this position serves as a backup for the Chef during absences and may provide additional support for employee events and catering needs as needed.

ABOUT YOU:

• 3+ years of experience as a cook or in a similar food service role.
• Enjoy preparing great food and serving others.
• Reliable, organized, and willing to jump in where needed.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment and following food safety practices.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED required; culinary training is a plus.
• Appreciation for EWTN's mission and values preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE:

• We offer a career with purpose! Apply your God-given talents, knowing your contributions help to advance EWTN's mission of sharing the Gospel with the world.
• Caring environment. We value the importance of family/life balance and welcome you as an EWTN family member, not just an employee.
• Worship at work! Freedom to participate in Mass, visit the chapel for prayer or attend an annual retreat.
• Competitive pay.
• Ability to learn alongside legacy employees while bringing new ideas to the growing team!
