Job Description

Respect Life Ministry is hiring a full-time Mobile Pregnancy Center Program Coordinator. As a member of the Respect Life Ministry team, the Mobile Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the non-medical activities of the Mobile Pregnancy Help Center. Collaborating with the Director with guidance from the Assistant Director, the Mobile Program Coordinator engages in extensive outreach to local parishes and community groups, to solicit volunteer involvement and funding, with a goal of growing the visibility of the mobile ministry in the community. This position facilitates training for volunteers, direct services for program recipients, performs administrative tasks, and participates in projects and initiatives related to the ministry. This position also requires being a member of the Respect Life Ministry as well as the Parish Life Teams. The Mobile Pregnancy Center Program Coordinator performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Respect Life Office and the Archdiocese of Miami.

Responsibilities include:
Manage day-to-day Mobile Ministry operations, including stocking supplies, documentation, and mobile mechanical oversight.
Drive the mobile center to locations, along with the ultrasound technician.
Direct and coordinate all direct service activities, and operations of the mobile pregnancy center. This includes setting up and overseeing administrative procedures to meet goals set by the Director, providing direct client services, such as options counseling, facilitating pregnancy tests, making community referrals, and maintaining accurate records, such as reports, receipts, mileage, and monthly reporting and statistics.
Provide pregnancy counseling to clients following Florida Pregnancy Care Network (FPCN) and Respect Life Ministry guidelines.
Enter and verify Mobile Ministry client data in databases.
Oversee receptionist/dispatch center tasks, answering mobile line, scheduling appointments, checking voicemail.
Ensure mobile maintenance, safety standards, and schedules are followed accordingly.
Build relationships with referral agencies and services.
Together with the Director, coordinate mobile unit tours, community appearances, and outreach events.
Market the mobile ministry within each service area.
Collect data on client activity and prepare monthly reports to satisfy the requirements of the State of Florida Pregnancy Support Services Program funding.
Monitor activities funded by Pregnancy Support Services Program to ensure FPSSP compliance.
Resolve problems and issues escalated from the staff or volunteers who provide direct service and counseling support to clients. Apprise Director of issues that present as trends and provide input on determining and/or modifying policies and procedures and selecting training interventions.
Manage job training as well as performance of pregnancy center volunteers, recommending proper action to Director as needed, including training recommendations.
Aid with other Respect Life Office tasks as needed with empathy, confidentiality, and discretion, demonstrating excellent internal and external customer service. Attend all monthly staff meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School diploma and administrative experience in a social-service or customer-service environment required.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human services or related area and two years of experience in the administration of social service programs.
Experience in providing direct social services required, clinical experience a plus.
One year experience in operations management required.
Accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
Fundraising or other revenue-generating experience preferred.
Must have valid Florida driver license with safe driving record and automobile insurance.
Excellent personal interaction skills, including ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging and crisis situations, both in person and by phone.
Skilled in needs analysis and problem resolution; ability to actively listen to concerns, make quick assessments and lead people in crisis to solutions.
Knowledge of business and management principles in resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
Suitable time management, including ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while retaining accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.
Strong computer application skills, including word processing and proficiency in spreadsheets.
Good oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
Strongly Preferred: Good Haitian Creole or Spanish language spoken communication skills.
Must be supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; Experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
Excellent written communication skills, including spelling and grammar required.
Must have a professional demeanor.
