Elementary Ed. (grades 1-5) Faith Formation Coordinator

Job Description

St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an enthusiastic person to join the Faith Formation Team. This person would promote quality catechesis for grades 1-5. Specific responsibilities include: coordinate faith formation for grades 1-5, develop and implement lesson plans for grades 1-5, actively recruit, support and mentor volunteer catechists, and collaborate with the faith formation team in ministering to and supporting the domestic church of each family.

This part-time (9 months/20hrs/week) position is a key member of the faith formation team in a vibrant parish with over 2600 families having a commitment to helping youth and families develop a personal relationship with Jesus. The person must be a practicing Catholic and an understanding of child development, learning styles and needs is required. and a degree or certificate in religious studies/theology or is preferred.
