Job Description

The Director of Alumni Relations will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships between St. Dominic High School and its affiliated elementary school and their alumni communities. This role advances the school's mission by fostering lifelong engagement, encouraging philanthropic support, and promoting a strong sense of identity and community among graduates.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni relations strategy that serves both the high school and elementary school communities.
•Plan and execute alumni events, including reunions, networking events, liturgies, and regional gatherings.
•Maintain and grow the alumni database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
•Support fundraising initiatives, including annual giving campaigns and major gifts.
•Serve as the primary liaison between alumni and the schools, responding to inquiries and facilitating engagement opportunities.
•Promote alumni achievements and stories through newsletters, social media, and school publications.
•Encourage alumni participation in mentorship programs, guest speaking, and volunteer opportunities that support current students.
•Work closely with faculty, administration, and campus ministry to integrate alumni into the spiritual and educational life of the schools.
•Support the schools' mission by incorporating Catholic values and traditions into alumni programming.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
•Minimum of three years of experience in alumni relations, advancement, communications, or a related field.
•Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
•Experience with event planning and project management.
•Commitment to and understanding of Catholic education and values.
•Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
•Active participation in the Catholic faith and understanding of St. Dominic traditions.

Compensation and Benefits:
