Job Description
All Saints Catholic SchoolThe Assistant Principal will serve All Saints Catholic School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma by working with the principal and pastor to create and maintain the highest spiritual and academic standards of excellence.
The goals of the Assistant Principal are:
To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
To draw the students of the school into a deeper sense of their self responsibility and desire for academic and spiritual formation.
To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
To foster a spirit of collaboration between the parents and the school.
Key Responsibility Areas
Manage, sustain and tend to the daily operations of the school office in order to provide a spirit of order and hospitality to school patrons as well as the faculty and staff.
Work with the maintenance department to ensure security of all buildings and property. Schedule and oversee safety drills
Envision, implement and refine an innovative review process for teacher evaluations that draws on best practices, and gathers the needed input to provide teachers with timely and helpful feedback that enables them to continue teaching at their highest potential.
Maintain records of faculty evaluations
Conduct 50% of all faculty reviews
Assist in behavior management
Meet with faculty and staff to review performance and assess needs.
Promote a discipleship-based religious education program within the school that provides social, catechetical, spiritual, and service opportunities for the students as they grow in their relationship with Christ and their peers.
Communicate, collaborate and interface with faculty, staff, feeder parishes, the Catholic School's Office and wider community in order to support a spirit of collaboration and unity among these interest groups.
Attend all HSA Meetings
Attend all School Advisory Meetings
Attend assigned committee meetings
Attend Diocesan Principal Meeting and In-service Days
Attend weekly Executive Team Meetings
Oversee standardized testing
Assist with curriculum development
Qualifications
A Masters degree in education and a Catholic in good standing.
