Job OpeningChief Finance Officer
Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic committed individual to serve as Chief Finance Officer.
This is a full-time, at-will position.

seeking a mission-aligned leader to serve as our Chief Finance Officer. The CFO will work closely with the President & CEO, the Board of Trustees, the Chief Development Officer, and the Executive Leadership Team.
Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 depending on experience, and education
Mullen reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.

Position Summary
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is a key member of the school's Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of all financial aspects of Mullen High School. This includes budgeting, financial planning, accounting, audit coordination, tuition management, and risk assessment. The CFO ensures that all financial operations support the mission and strategic goals of the school, promoting long-term financial sustainability. The successful candidate will have a strong leadership experience, a deep understanding of financial best practices in educational or nonprofit settings, and a commitment to Catholic, Lasallian values.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the school's annual operating budget and long-range financial plan.
Oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Supervise business office personnel and operations including tuition billing, collections, and payroll.
Serve as the staff liaison to the Board Finance Committee.
Lead preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage risk and insurance policies for the school.
Provide financial oversight for capital projects and strategic initiatives.
Lead and mentor members of the Business Office staff.
Promote financial transparency and fiscal responsibility.
Qualifications
Commitment to Catholic and Lasallian values.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA license (preferred).
Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Experience in an educational or mission-driven organization preferred.
Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with nonprofit accounting software and systems.
