Job Description

Put Your Gifts to Work for Life

Is God calling you to use your talents for organization, communication, and hospitality to protect mothers and their babies? JMJ Pregnancy Center is seeking a faithful, detail-oriented administrator to help sustain and grow one of the most fruitful Catholic pro-life ministries in Florida.

This is not a desk job that happens to be at a nonprofit. Every donor you thank, every event you organize, and every volunteer you welcome helps a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy discover that she is not alone, and that her child is a gift.

About JMJ Pregnancy Center

JMJ is the largest Catholic pregnancy center in Central Florida, serving women and families that come from several counties to our 3 locations situated between Orlando and Kissimmee.

Rooted in Catholic teaching on the dignity of every human life, we walk with moms in need before and after birth with compassion, practical support, and the love of Christ.

What You Will Do

As the right hand of our executive leadership team, you will help keep the mission moving every day:

* Support our leadership: manage calendars, correspondence, and preparation, so our leaders can focus on mission and growth
* Organize our annual gala: coordinate sponsors, hosts, committees, volunteers, registration, and financial tracking for our signature fundraising event
* Build community partnerships: connect with Catholic schools, parishes, the Knights of Columbus, the Council of Catholic Women, and other Catholic organizations to represent JMJ at events and on-site
* Lead parish campaigns: bring Baby Bottle Drives and Life Statue campaigns to parishes across Central Florida, from Mass announcements to the final blessing
* Share the story: create Facebook, Instagram, and Flocknote content that invites others into the mission
* Care for our donors: research and schedule donor and parish meetings for leadership, grow our JMJ Ambassadors FOR LIFE program, and make sure every supporter feels personally thanked
* Steward every gift faithfully: track donations, receipts, and deposits with the accuracy our donors deserve
* Plan events that build the movement: support Rosary Rallies, Laps 4 Life, Baby Steps 5K, Adopt-a-Mom for Christmas, and more
* Build a culture of life at work: plan Masses, retreats, birthday and holiday celebrations, and joyful office feasts throughout the liturgical year
* Welcome and equip volunteers: recruit, vet, train, and track the volunteers who make our ministry possible
* Keep things running well: maintain a clean, stocked, welcoming office and prepare agendas, reminders, and minutes for board and staff meetings

Who You Are

* A practicing Catholic who joyfully upholds the Church's teaching on the sanctity of life, marriage, and family
* Meticulous and organized, you notice the missing receipt, the misspelled name, and the meeting reminder no one else remembered
* A warm, professional communicator in person, on the phone, and in writing
* Comfortable juggling many priorities and calm under pressure
* Skilled with Google, Apple, and Microsoft applications, and eager to learn tools like Donorbox, eKYROS, Flocknote, Asana, Google Drive, and Canva
* Fundraising and development initiatives, you take care of the donor calls, donor opportunities, and donor engagement to foster long-term growth
* A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, communications, or nonprofit management is preferred; an Associate's Degree with comparable experience is welcome to apply; human resources and healthcare administration is a plus
* Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus

Why You Will Love This Work

* Your daily work directly supports mothers and families choosing life for their babies
* You will serve alongside a staff and volunteer family who pray together, celebrate together, and share your convictions
* You will engage in Masses, retreats, and facility blessings that are part of our rhythm, not an afterthought
* You will grow in skills across development, events, communications, and nonprofit operations, with real potential for future growth within JMJ
* Your creative ideas are welcome and will help generate new ways to grow the mission
