Job DescriptionQualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
1. Provide positive role-modeling for students based on our Catholic Faith.
2. Understand early reading methodologies and basic mathematics.
3. Ability to communicate with young learners, parents, and colleagues.
4. Demonstrate patience and empathy in all situations and circumstances.
5. Ability to create engaging lessons and to adapt to changing needs.
6. Listen and interact effectively with students, parents, colleagues, leadership, and community.
7. Develop and implement a strategic planning system which includes appropriate grade level scope and sequence according to the standards of St. Aloysius Academy and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
8. Use formal and informal assessments strategies as needed to maximize achievement.
9. Manage the classroom through established routine and procedures to create a positive and safe learning experience.
