Job Description
St. John's Prep is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year.Teaching Responsibilities:
The successful candidate may be assigned courses in one or more of the following areas:
• Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II
• Introduction to Computer Science
Minimum Qualifications:
• A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related field
• A passion for fostering mathematical thinking and inquiry
• A master's degree (preferred)
• Experience teaching NYS Regents and/or Advanced Placement courses is a plus
Candidate Expectations:
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with NYS Learning Standards
• Design assessments that measure academic progress and promote critical thinking
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families to support student success
