Job Description
Reports to: Director of Lifelong Faith FormationDirect Reports: Administrative Assistant to Faith Formation, Catechists, Family Faith Formation Volunteers
Collaborates With: Associate Director of Adult Faith Formation, Associate Director of Youth and Families, Deacon Joe,
Coordinator of Liturgy & Sacraments, Director of Early Childhood Center
Required Travel: Conferences, retreats and other events as necessary
Weekly Schedule: Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Purpose
We believe that we are called to inspire and accompany families on their faith journey. The Associate Director of Family
Faith Formation guides and accompanies parents, care-givers and children toward an encounter with Christ and a
growing personal relationship with Him.
Summary
The Associate Director of Family Faith Formation is responsible for the development and implementation of catechetical
programs for children in 1st through 5th grade, while equipping and accompanying parents and care givers as primary
catechists of the family.

• A thorough understanding of the Archdiocesan policies and requirements for Faith Formation and Sacraments.
• Understands the inter-relatedness of Sacramental Preparation and Faith Formation programs.
• Skilled and experienced in program design, planning and execution.
• Gifted at inviting and training others for relational, evangelizing catechesis.
• Highly competent at organizational and personnel management.
• Excellent language and communications skills: whether person to person, small groups or large gatherings.
• Proficient in technology and digital media, and adept at learning new platforms and systems.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
