Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
+ Represent St. Malachy Parish and its mission with a professional, calm, and welcoming presence for parishioners and visitors, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
+ Communication, support and collaboration with other staff members
+ Responsible for managing all office communications: Correspondence, Telephone, Email, Bulletin, Website
+ Calendar Maintenance
+ Trains office staff and office volunteers
+ Manages data base and entry
+ Manages and maintains essential office and sacramental records
+ Maintains office supplies and equipment
+ Performs all other duties or work as needed or required.

Qualifications:
+ Professing, practicing and knowledgeable of the Catholic Faith, or otherwise supportive of Catholic beliefs and practices
+ Commitment to personal growth in faith formation and living as a moral role model
+ Calm, professional and welcoming demeanor
+ Able to practice effective communication with various volunteers
+ Proficiency with a modern means of communication and technology
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Successful background check and completion of Diocesan Safe Environment Training

General Information:
+ Full time position (30 hours) with benefits
+ Salary: $25,000 - 30,000
