Church of the Nativity, a dynamic parish located in Burke, VA, seeks to hire a Full Time Receptionist/Baptism coordinator /Assistant Compliance Liaison

Duties are to assist the front desk receptionist with greeting and helping parishioners. This job primarily schedules baptisms, answers questions about baptism procedures/godparent requirements, etc. Job will also provide baptism certificates and register baptisms in sacramental records.
The job includes preparing marriage certificate as requested by the priest celebrating the marriage, recording the names and other information in the marriage register book, preparing Notification of marriage forms for the Catholic bride and/or groom, and mailing the notifications to the Catholic Church of their baptism. The position is also the assistant liaison for Arlington Diocese Child Protection. Competitive salary based on experience - $20-28/hour plus benefits which includes sick and vacation leave, holidays, pension plan, health.
Requirements
*Proven experience as front desk representative
*Familiarity with office machines (e.g., fax, printer, etc.)
*Proficient in English (oral and written)
*Bilingual Spanish-English a plus
*Knowledge of MS office - including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
*Strong communication and people skills
*Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
*Customer service orientation
