Position Description and Responsibilities
The Institute for Catholic Liberal Education seeks a master teacher to participate in ICLE's work of forming teachers in a Catholic understanding and practice of Catholic liberal arts education. The ICLE faculty is a tight-knit community of educators who work together to form Catholic school teachers across the country.

This position will require travel, averaging two trips per month, each lasting two to three days, to deliver on-site workshops, attend ICLE events, and provide ongoing consultation and webinars for schools. This new faculty member will be trained in ICLE's teacher formation curriculum and will be asked to draw from his or her own knowledge and experience to create new presentations and materials. The job will also include ICLE internal projects, as needed, such as curricular research and consulting.

The ideal candidate would be a faith-filled, dynamic Catholic educator with significant experience teaching in liberal arts schools and in Catholic education. Experience in instructional coaching or mentoring is a plus. We are looking for a disciple of Christ with a heart for this mission to help Catholic educators renew their vocations so they may renew their school communities.

-Strong passion to bring lower elementary* students and teachers into the wisdom of the Catholic tradition and experience of how to form habits and dispositions in the souls of the youngest of students

*We welcome applications from candidates at every grade level but especially invite applications from teachers with lower elementary experience.

Instructional
-Engaging, seasoned educator with experience in Catholic liberal arts education, especially with significant experience teaching grades K-8 in Catholic liberal arts schools
-Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, public speaking), including the ability to clearly present subject matter to other educators, including groups of 30-40 teachers
-Capacity to quickly learn ICLE programming and deliver content seamlessly to educators
-Strong creativity and ability to develop new content related to the Catholic liberal arts
-Ability to teach classroom leadership with the capacity to draw from personal stories in the classroom
-Comfort and aptitude for coaching school leaders in their transition to a Catholic liberal arts approach

General
-Excellent capacity to work independently and autonomously, particularly in a remote environment
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
-Ability to work collaboratively amongst multiple team members and respond quickly to shifting priorities
-Strong attention to detail and capacity to own, manage, and follow through on initiatives
-Comfortable with technical tools such as Google Sheets, or willingness to learn and utilize

Other
-Bachelor's Degree required for School Services Faculty
-Master's or Ph.D. required for CEFC Faculty
-Significant classroom teaching experience
