Job Description

The formation of future priests is one of the most important and demanding tasks for the evangelization of humanity. ~ St. John Paul II

The Ideal Candidate: A mission-fit team member with a heart for the Lord and His Church who proposes new initiatives, energizes others, and demonstrates the persistence to see projects through.

What You Will Do: This position plays a key execution role on the development team, driving donor engagement through relationship-building, events, and outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Role:
*Build and steward relationships with a portfolio of donors, particularly focused on event sponsorships and year-end giving.
*Plan and execute all aspects of major fundraising and donor events, including logistics, communications, and fund-a-need components.
*Serve as project manager for development initiatives, ensuring timelines, follow-ups, and deliverables stay on track.
*Execute donor outreach and communication strategies including direct mail, segmentation, and stewardship in collaboration with Director of Communications.
*Contribute to a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
*Mission Representative: Strong relationship-builder and communicator who represents SJV's mission to a broad variety of constituents.
*Strong organizational skills: Project-driven with the ability to streamline processes and move work forward.
*Technical Proficiency: Experience with development CRM and event management platforms strongly preferred (Bloomerang, 25Live, etc.). Strong competency with Microsoft Office Suite, including collaborative tools like Teams and Planner.
*Confidentiality: Demonstrated capacity to handle confidential information with reverence and discretion.
*Faith-Based Office Environment: An intentional disciple of Jesus Christ who enjoys working in a mission-driven environment.
