Job Description

The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration are seeking a Part Time Dishwasher to work 2-3 days a week in the Convent. The normal shift is 7am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities
• Washing pots, pans, and other cookware ensuring they are properly sanitized and put away
• Cleaning food processing equipment
• Performing general sanitation of the dietary department
• Receiving and delivering food supplies
• Supporting and working together with the other members of the dietary staff
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• General cleaning (sweeping, mopping and cleaning up kitchen and employee break room)
• Emptying and transporting of trash, recycling and other waste to designated areas.
• Cleaning, operating, and maintaining kitchen equipment

Qualifications
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff
• Ability to communicate, understand and follow directions
• Ability push food carts to another building
• Ability to work every other weekend and some holidays
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
