Director of Worship & Social Media
Position Summary

The Director of Worship & Social Media is a Spirit-filled leader who cultivates an atmosphere where students encounter the living God through worship, beauty, and bold proclamation. Rooted in Sacred Scripture and fully aligned with the teachings and liturgical life of the Catholic Church, this leader shapes worship that is reverent, vibrant, charismatic, and authentically Catholic. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and a missionary heart. All responsibilities are contingent upon the gifts and collaboration of the individual and the broader staff team. In addition to primary responsibilities, this Director will personally lead one discipleship study or men's/women's group, investing directly in student formation.

Coordinate worship teams for ministry events, fostering unity, reverence, and bold praise.
Collaborate closely with OCIA leadership in preparing for the Holy Week, ensuring liturgical beauty and theological integrity.

Form and mentor student artists and creatives, helping them see their gifts as instruments of evangelization.
Cultivate spaces that reflect beauty, reverence, and joy, drawing hearts toward deeper encounter.

Social Media & Communications - Digital Mission Field
Lead and oversee social media as a strategic tool for evangelization and proclamation of the Gospel.
Creatively promote major initiatives including Kickoff Week, retreats, OCIA, and Damascus Night.
Share testimonies of conversion, sacramental milestones, and stories of discipleship.
Develop compelling, Scripture-rooted content that calls students into deeper faith and missionary living.
Collaborate with Outreach to amplify evangelistic efforts and extend invitation beyond the walls of the student center.
This role sees digital platforms not merely as communication tools, but as mission territory.

Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with Outreach, Student Leadership, and OCIA teams to ensure unified vision and mission.
Participate fully in weekly staff meetings, contributing creatively and spiritually to the overall direction of the ministry.
Remain adaptable and flexible, responding to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the evolving needs of the mission.
