Job Description
Pope John XXIII High School is located in Sparta, New Jersey, and is part of the Catholic Academy of Sussex County. We house students in grades 8 through 12.For the upcoming 25-26 school year, we are in need of a full-time Theology teacher. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
*Undergraduate or graduate degree in Theology or Divinity, or
pursuing such a degree.
*A practicing Catholic following the curriculum for Theology set by the
Diocese of Paterson.
*Some teaching experience is preferred, and good classroom
management.
*Comfortable using technology, including Google Classroom and a
digital grade book.
*A team player, works well with colleagues, develops relationships with
students, and is willing to contact parents when necessary.
