Job Description
Mary Help of Christians Catholic School in Parkland (Broward County), Florida is looking for a full-time Elementary School Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This person will be responsible for the supervision, instruction, lesson planning, assessing and maintaining data analysis skills of the students. This teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
*valid Florida Department of Education Teaching certification; professional or temporary preferred; may be in the process of applying (considered with statement of eligibility).
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*Experience working with educational computer software including digital grade books, and smart boards.
*Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
*Good grammar and spelling required.
*Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
*Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
*Must have a professional demeanor.
