Job Description
Mary's Woods is seeking a Mission Integration Director to ensure that our mission, vision, and core values are deeply embedded across all areas of our organization. This role acts as a cultural steward, guiding leadership and staff in values-based decision-making, supporting resident and community engagement, and aligning strategic goals with our Catholic identity and person-centered philosophy.The Mission Integration Director is responsible for ensuring that the mission, vision, and core values of Mary's Woods are deeply embedded in the organization's culture, policies, and practices. As a member of the leadership team, this position serves as a strategic advisor and cultural steward who champions ethical decision-making and organizational alignment with mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CEO, executive team, and Board to align organizational strategy with the mission and values by serving as an internal ethics consultant, supporting mission-focused budgeting, and advocating for social responsibility and equity.
Develop and sustain a culture where mission and values guide daily operations by providing employee training and formation programs, collaborating with HR on mission-driven hiring and recognition practices, and value-based leadership development.
Support the spiritual and emotional well-being of residents, ensuring ethical considerations are honored in care.
Facilitate programs that enhance community identity and engagement in alignment with mission while partnering with spiritual care team to enhance faith-based services.
Partner with Resident Services on mission-driven initiatives such as volunteerism, social responsibility projects, and community partnerships.
Coordinate with Communications team to ensure publications, postings and other materials have a focus on mission and values
Provide ethical guidance on resident care and operations to ensure decisions align with organizational values and foster a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect in senior care.
Act as a liaison with Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM) to ensure mission alignment, while building relationships with local faith communities, non-profits, and service organizations, and advocating for the community's active role in social responsibility and outreach.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Theology, Ethics, or a related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in mission integration, ministry, senior living or human services.
Familiarity with Catholic Social Teaching and the values of hospitality, compassion and service.
Experience leading formation or reflective practice programs preferred.
Strong facilitation, public speaking and written communication skills.

This is a part-time, exempt position that requires an average commitment of 20 hours per week. The work schedule will be flexible to accommodate the evolving needs of the community, its programs, residents, team members, and operations.
