Job Description
St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to lead our parish preschool. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic who is passionate about early childhood education and eager to foster a Christ-centered community for children, families, and staff.The Director will oversee the daily operations of the preschool, provide leadership and support to staff, ensure adherence to diocesan requirements, and collaborate closely with parish and school leadership.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a practicing Catholic who lives and models the teachings of the Church.
Have experience in early childhood education and/or administration with a deep understanding of child development.
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Bring a joyful, collaborative spirit and a genuine love for forming young hearts in faith.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide faith-based leadership that supports the mission and vision of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Preschool.
Oversee the daily operation of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all students.
Recruit, supervise, and support teachers and staff, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the broader parish community.
Oversee curriculum, staff formation, enrollment, and budget.
Ensure a safe, faith-filled environment in full compliance with diocesan and state guidelines.
Foster strong relationships with families and parish ministries to strengthen the bond between school and parish life.
Qualifications:
Practicing Roman Catholic with a strong commitment to the teachings and mission of the Church.
Degree or certification in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of teaching or administrative experience in early childhood settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with staff and families.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willing and able to successfully complete Diocesan Safe Environment training including background check.
