Job Description
VOLUNTEER EVANGELIZATION COORDINATORThe Diocese of Arlington operates a Mission in the towns of Banica and Pedro Santana, in the province of Elias Pina in the Dominican Republic. The Mission is seeking an Evangelization Coordinator to assist the two Arlington priests assigned there.
This is a volunteer position with housing and access to a vehicle and a generous stipend sufficient for local living expenses for an individual or married couple. The ability to speak Spanish is required.
The Evangelization Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
Help with the evangelization in the parishes of Banica and Pedro Santana, including overseeing and managing the Parish Center that hosts visiting mission groups and parish events.
Advise and assist visiting groups with trip planning, schedules, and logistical issues at the Parish Center.
Supervise local employees who do year-round upkeep of the Parish Center, ensuring that grounds and facilities are well-maintained.
