Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accountant
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Organization: Regnum Christi Philadelphia
Position Type: Part-time
Schedule: Flexible | Approximately 30-40 hours per month, with increased workload during peak season (October through February)

Position Summary
RC Philadelphia is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage monthly financial tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys flexible scheduling. The Bookkeeper will ensure accuracy in financial records, manage multiple accounts, and provide reporting that supports the mission and operations of Regnum Christi Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping & Reporting
• Perform monthly bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for leadership review.
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor budgets to support financial planning.
Donation & Account Management
• Manage multiple merchant accounts to process and track donations.
• Handle multiple bank accounts and prepaids for financial operations and reconciliation.
• Prepare annual tax letters for donors.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Handle AP and AR, ensuring timely payments and accurate receivables.
• Maintain W9s and collaborate with the 1099 process at year end.
Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data organization).
• Experience managing multiple merchant accounts, bank accounts, and donation processing.
• Knowledge of IRS nonprofit best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to the Catholic faith and alignment with Regnum Christi's mission.
Compensation
