Job Description

St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish is seeking a mission-driven Business Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of the parish. This leadership role is essential to ensuring financial stability, operational excellence, and strong communication between parish leadership, families, the Richmond Diocese, and external partners.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all financial accounts, budgeting, and payroll processes
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable and prepare regular financial reports
• Ensure compliance with diocesan and regulatory policies, including audits
• Maintain personnel records, process payroll, and assist with onboarding
• Supervise office staff and support day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
• Minimum of Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of financial/administrative experience (non-profit or church setting preferred)
• Proficiency with financial software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality skills
• Commitment to the mission of the Roman Catholic Church
This is a full-time, 12-month position with regular office hours and occasional evening meetings.
