Job Description

We are seeking a zealous and visionary individual to serve as our Greenville, NC missionary, overseeing the operations and ministry of our non-profit organization dedicated to serving inner-city teens. As a missionary, you will be responsible for modeling effective ministry practices in both small and large group settings, fundraising, and building vital local connections within the community.

Qualifications:
- A strong personal relationship with Christ and commitment to the Catholic faith.
- Experience in ministry leadership and/or working with youth, particularly in urban or inner-city settings (or comparable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Proven ability to fundraise and build relationships with donors and supporters.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Responsibilities:
- Spiritual Leadership: Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life, Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to teens, Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Vagabond Missions community.
- Ministry Oversight: Lead by example in both small and large group settings, demonstrating effective ministry techniques and strategies; Build meaningful relationships with teens, serving as a positive role model and mentor; Oversee ministry programs and initiatives; Set yearly strategic ministry plans and initiatives to reach kids.
- Fundraising and Budgeting: Personally support raise salary and communicate regularly with donors, utilizing the organization's fundraising training and methodology; Cultivate relationships with donors and supporters, Manage the local budget.
- Community and Resource Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local churches, schools, businesses, and community organizations; Collaborate with community leaders to identify opportunities for partnership and support; Manage and oversee local leases, utilities and bills.

- Time off includes: 7 days paid vacation, 10 days off between Christmas and New Years, Certain federal holidays or holy days given off throughout the year, Monthly Spiritual Day
- Participation in all staff training/retreat twice a year, and ongoing participation in programs designed for personal spiritual maturity or personal enrichment.
- Option to obtain a MA in Theology from Franciscan University for 50% tuition
