Job Description

The Parish of the Holy Eucharist is seeking a Director of Finance & Administrative Operations to oversee the parish's financial management, administrative functions, and business operations. Reporting directly to the Pastor, this position plays a vital leadership role in supporting the parish's mission through effective stewardship of financial, physical, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and provide financial analysis to parish leadership and councils.
• Coordinate audits, annual financial statements, and internal controls.
• Direct parish office operations and supervise administrative staff and volunteers.
• Oversee HR-related activities, including benefits administration, hiring support, compliance, and volunteer management.
• Serve as liaison with diocesan offices, financial institutions, and parish councils.
• Support parish operations in accordance with Catholic teaching and diocesan policies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Five to ten years of business, finance, or management experience preferred.
• Strong accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and organizational skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and computer applications.
• Understanding of and commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church.
• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
