WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Contribute to our overall lead generation strategy with a focus on measurable outcomes
- Own inbound marketing assets such as blogs, landing pages, lead magnets, and other lead capture experiences
- Write and build email campaigns, website copy, and basic content offers that educate and convert
- Help plan, promote, and run marketing webinars, including pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up
- Monitor website and blog performance with conversion in mind and suggest improvements
- Partner closely with Sales so that campaigns, MQLs, and SQLs stay aligned with real opportunities
- Track lead performance and optimize funnels, content, and messaging based on data
- Occasionally present or moderate in webinars or virtual events when needed
If you have experience with social media or paid ads, that is a plus, not a requirement.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Below is the list of qualifications we are looking for in the ideal candidate.
Got to have these:
- You are a marketer who cares about results, not just activity. You enjoy building campaigns that actually move numbers and you are comfortable owning a target.
- Have 3-5 years of experience in lead generation or digital marketing, ideally in SaaS or a similar B2B environment
- Understand inbound marketing, buyer journeys, and how to move a contact from curious to qualified
- Write clearly and persuasively, and you like creating content that converts
- Are comfortable working with sales and talking about pipeline, MQLs, and SQLs
- Enjoy testing, learning, and improving rather than running the same play forever
- Care about serving the Church and are curious about the real needs of parishes, dioceses, schools, and ministries
Your success will be measured primarily by:
- Growth in the volume and quality of Marketing Qualified Leads
- Conversion from MQL to SQL, and ultimately to closed deals
- Ongoing improvement in funnel performance and campaign-driven revenue

INTERVIEW PROCESS
Short video introduction:
- You send us a 3-5 minute video that covers who you are, what drives you, and what makes you different as a marketer.
Conversation and work samples:
- We review your resume and any portfolio or campaign examples you wish to share. Then we have a structured interview to walk through specific campaigns you have run, what you owned, and what results you delivered.
Practical exercise:
- Finalists complete a small, time-boxed exercise. For example, outlining a simple lead funnel for a specific eCatholic product or drafting copy for a landing page and follow-up email. We care about how you think and how you communicate.
