SAFETY & SECURITY OFFICER
Birmingham, AL / Full-time, onsite
(Night shift)

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

Join EWTN's Safety & Security team and help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our employees, visitors, pilgrims, and guests. As a Safety & Security Officer, you'll serve as a visible presence on campus, monitor security systems, respond to emergencies, and support daily operations that help protect our mission.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests. Responsibilities include conducting campus patrols, monitoring surveillance and security systems, screening vehicles and access points, responding to emergencies, assisting visitors, supporting special events, and providing transportation assistance when needed.

ABOUT YOU:

• You are a dependable and professional public safety professional with experience in security, law enforcement, military, EMS, or a related field.
• You possess strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain discreet when handling sensitive situations.
• Candidates must hold a valid Alabama driver's license, be eligible to obtain a pistol permit, and be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification if not already certified.
• The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing patrol duties, comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, and committed to ensuring the safety and security of others.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
