About the Employer

Queen of Peace Montessori Adolescent Program seeks to "generously serve the needs of the socially and economically disadvantaged with special attention to those who are weakest." (The Holy See's Teaching on Catholic Education, 2005). Modeled after the Christo Rey program in a rural setting, enrolled adolescents, initially ages 12-14, will participate in agrarian work-tuition. The "Erdkinder" level engages students in exploring entrepreneurship and agrarian topics with academic presentations using an integrated, discovery approach to learning. Theology is presented through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd model which builds on the Hebrew understanding of faith and liturgy.
