Job Description
The Catholic Diocese of Spokane seeks a fulltime Director of Communications and Media to develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for Bishop's priorities of vocations, Catholic education, and growth in holiness and reflect the diocese's mission "to encounter, live, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Eastern Washington. " Education, Skills and Experience: BA in communication, media, marketing, PR, or business; 5 years' experience in digital media and publications; proven experience in crisis communications; practicing Catholic who is faithful to Church teachings; familiarity with Church's structures, functions, history and policy positions; sufficient knowledge of contemporary Church issues to craft effective and accurate communications that express Bishop's perspectives TO APPLY: Send resume, letter of interest and contact information for three professional references to Victoria Loveland, vloveland@dioceseofspokane.org; review of applications begins May 27th; position starts July 1, 2025
