Director of DevelopmentCatholic Diocese of Lincoln
Mission:
To build a culture of stewardship and financial support for diocesan ministries-especially Catholic education and vocations-by fostering generosity and faith across the Diocese of Lincoln.
Position Overview:
The Director of Development leads all diocesan fundraising and stewardship efforts. Working closely with Bishop James Conley and diocesan leadership, the Director oversees programs such as the Good Shepherd Scholarship Fund, the Bishop's Appeal for Vocations, and other initiatives supporting Catholic education and formation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of diocesan development and fundraising programs.
Build relationships with donors, parishes, schools, and foundations.
Partner with pastors and administrators to strengthen stewardship at the parish level.
Coordinate annual campaigns and donor recognition.
Oversee marketing, communications, and budgeting for development activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; CFRE preferred or willingness to pursue.
Minimum five years of experience in development or fundraising leadership.
Proven success in major gifts, campaigns, and donor engagement.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
Details:
Full-time, exempt position based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Some evening and weekend work required.
