Job Description

Position: Food and Beverage Service Worker

FLSA: Part Time (Flexible hours, including night and weekend availability)

Schedule: This part-time position will be located at the Augustine Institute in Florissant, Missouri

Reporting to: Food and Beverage Director

Position Summary:

The Food and Beverage Service Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of food and beverage establishments. This position focuses on maintaining high sanitation standards adhering to health regulations and promoting safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities:
The Food and Beverage Service Worker is responsible for setting up and breaking down meal accommodation according to event specifications.
Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and presentable for guests.

Cleaning Procedures:
• Assist in the cleaning of equipment, utensils, and dining areas.

Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and inspections.
Prepare reports on sanitation practices and areas needing improvement.

Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen and management staff to address sanitation issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in food sanitation are a plus.
• Experience in the food service industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to perform tasks involving cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Schedule:
• Availability for flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.
