Job Description
Job Posting for a full-time position: Teacher of Theology at at Saint Joseph High School, Metuchen, New JerseySaint Joseph High School, owned and operated by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, is a private, Catholic all-boys college preparatory school looking for a talented individual to take on a full-time role of Theology Teacher. Start date would be August 24, 2026 for the beginning of our first semester in the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:
--Build a disciplined classroom culture in which students enjoy learning Theology, think critically about course material, and assume ownership over their own learning
--Use a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments to ensure that students are engaged
--Develop strong relationships with parents and students, creating investment in school culture and academics
Qualifications:
--Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Theology or related field
--Ability to teach Sacred Scripture, World Religions and Church History, among other various topics
--Is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church
--Experience teaching high school students, preferred
