Religion Teacher - Long-Term Substitute

Job Description

Bishop O'Connell High School has an opening for a long-term substitute in religion during the 2026 - 2027. This position is expected to run from mid-September 2026 through mid-January 2027. Teaching responsibility would be for 9th and 11th grade students in the courses: "Jesus in Scripture" and "Sacraments".

All religion courses follow the U.S. bishops' doctrinal framework for high school catechists. Candidates must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Teaching experience and/or education coursework is preferred, but not required.

Compensation
Salary range is $22 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
