Teacher Aide - Early Childhood Program
Location: Holy Child Academy, Old Westbury, NY
Position Type: Hourly, Paid Position, $20 per hour

Join our caring and faith-filled Early Childhood team at Holy Child Academy, a Catholic school dedicated to nurturing the hearts and minds of young children. We are seeking a warm, dependable Teacher Aide to support our Lead Teachers in creating a joyful, safe, and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners.

Responsibilities
Assist teachers with classroom activities, lessons, and routines.
Support children's social, emotional, and spiritual growth through play and positive interaction.
Help supervise children during class, outdoor play, and transitions.
Prepare materials, set up learning centers, and keep the classroom organized.
Assist with arrival, dismissal, snack/lunch, and rest time.
Model kindness, respect, and Catholic values in all interactions.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood coursework or degree preferred).
Experience working with young children in a school or childcare setting a plus.
Patient, reliable, and nurturing personality.
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Must meet background check and child safety requirements.
