Job Description
Our Lady of Perpetual Help is seeking a full-time or two part-time Faith Formation director(s). Applicants must have a good knowledge of the Catholic faith and living that faith on a daily basis. They must have a desire to work with our young people, their parents and their teachers to pass on that faith.The purpose of the Director of Religious Education and Youth Ministry is to assist OLPH parishioners in the facilitation of educating students K-12th grade along with their parents in knowledge and understanding of our faith, encourage them to participate during Mass and in parish functions, and recognize their abilities to serve in church ministries. Duties are both ministry and administrative as you serve our young people and their families.
Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Theology or Catechesis is preferred. Prior work in ministry or religious education is acceptable. The applicant must be faithful to Catholic teachings.
The position will include weekend and evening hours and travel to youth events.
